Looking at these reviews after visiting this place a few times I really don’t see the issue. Bri at the front counter is super cool & friendly. The food has never let our family down. It’s always on point. Seems people just want the bubbly over the top personality. I would suggest going to chicfila! This place hits every time & the service is on point every time. Thank you Bri! Ignore the random negativity on these reviews. It’s solid service & great food.

Found Baker's D.I., by accident when attending the 4th of July parade in downtown McKinney. Glad I decided to turn around omw home and try it. I saw the photos and decided let me try the burgers & fries... Wow! It was great for the price I paid for it. On my next visit I'm going to try the fish basket. I might make this a regular stop whenever I'm in McKinney.

Terrible this fish nothing but crust no meat went and showed the lady working front and she was like that’s how it is. Very disappointing then cost 3 bucks for one piece to get it like this. Never again

My fiancé and I have never had this place before! It might not look like much on the outside but the food is great!! We waited about 10 minutes in total to get fish, wings and a sandwich. It was around noon and it started to get pretty busy! The only thing I would recommend is a place to sit. There aren’t any benches or anything to wait or enjoy the food at and there’s no drive through you have to walk up to order. But honestly not every place has to have those things. Regardless everything came out super hot and fresh and we will be going back.

Baker’s has been a long time classic burger joint on the east side of McKinney for years. I have been coming here for a long time. It has gone under some ownership changes in recent years and within the last year a menu change as well. It still has burgers, but now it’s pushing crab and wings. It’s in the same small place off McDonald street. You still order at the window and then they call you over the loud speaker when your order is ready. I was feeling nostalgic and went with the mushroom Swiss burger and my all time favorite from the past onion rings. I’m still hesitant to order crab from this location. Bun or burger was like in the past soft and slightly toasted. The burger was very thin and didn’t have much flavor. The mushrooms were ok and cooked well, but not many of them. It was a B grade burger. The disappointment was the onion rings. Although, they were crunchy they were overcooked and almost burnt on some of them. I was pretty bummed. I’m afraid The Baker’s of the past is gone. Maybe the wings and crab are good and the way to go. I’m not sure if I will be back to find out or not.
